LAKE BUTLER, Fla. (WCJB) – The small community of Providence in Union County was shaken by a double murder on Tuesday that resulted in a pursuit on Interstate 75 in Paynes Prairie. Authorities have released new details on the investigation into the killings.
Union County Sheriff’s deputies say Candace Joseph, 43, of Lake Butler, and a 47-year-old woman from Texas whose name hasn’t been released as of this report, were found dead off Southwest County Road 241.
