Detectives with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the deaths of four people, including two young children, whose bodies were discovered inside an Ocala home late Friday night.
Deputies arrived at a residence on Banyan Track Way in Ocala at approximately 10:25 p.m. on Friday, February 6, to conduct a welfare check. Upon entering the home, deputies located two adults and two children deceased.
While the official cause of death is pending confirmation from the Medical Examiner’s Office, investigators currently suspect the deaths may be the result of carbon monoxide poisoning.
