A 58-year-old Ocala woman is behind bars after she reportedly entered her neighbor’s home, grabbed a bottle of prescription medication, and stole more than a dozen tablets from it.
A Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a home located on SW 38th Terrace Road in Ocala on Sunday, February 1, after a female victim reported that her neighbor, Marshaleen Annette Hammer, had “come into her house uninvited” and “took some of (her) prescribed gabapentin,” according to the arrest report.
According to the victim’s statement, Hammer entered the victim’s home through the back door without permission. Hammer then allegedly told the victim that she was “cold” and “looking to warm up.”…
