Officials identify family of 4 killed from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning in Marion County

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – Officials have shared the identities of a family of four who died in Marion County due to likely carbon monoxide poisoning.

Marion County Sheriff’s deputies say Yohan Sanchez, 33, Rebeca Santos, 37, Michael Melendez, 15, and Samuel Sanchez, 2, were found dead on Friday night in their home on Banyan Track Way.

Investigators say the deaths were likely the result of carbon monoxide poisoning; however, the official cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office. No foul play is suspected…
