- Riverbanks and livestock ponds are dry
- Fish kills occur and and toxic algae develops
- A high wildfire risk

Southeast Georgia coastal counties are under “severe drought” conditions. This means:
- Elevated wildfire risk
- Water salinity increases
- Lawns and landscapes are very dry
