STARKE, Fla. (WCJB) – Florida’s fourth execution of 2026 is scheduled for March 17 at Florida State Prison near Starke.
Michael King is set to die by lethal injection at 6 p.m. He was convicted for the 2008 abduction, rape, and murder of Denise Amber Lee, 21, of Southwest Florida.
After raping her and duct-taping her wrists, King put Lee in his backseat. Lee managed to get King’s phone and call 911. At least three other people also called 911, but no help came to save her…
