Matschie’s tree kangaroos are a rare species, found only on the Huon Peninsula in Papua New Guinea.
But since the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo is one of only 16 AZA-accredited zoos in North America to house Matschie’s tree kangaroos, the staff gets to show off all the adaptations tree kangaroos have, right here in Gainesville…
