MCSO says 3-year-old bound with robe tie, painter’s tape before suspect fatally beat her

A 32-year-old Marion County suspect is being accused of allegedly binding his girlfriend’s 3-year-old daughter with a robe tie and painter’s tape so that she wouldn’t reach into her diaper while she slept, and then dropping her and beating her until she was unconscious the next morning.

On Thursday, Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home in the 16500 block of NE 44th Avenue in Citra in reference to Paisley Brown being unresponsive. Upon arrival at around 12 p.m., the deputies were told by a witness that Brown was allegedly harmed by Jeroen Jarrel Coombs.

As Coombs was attempting to leave the scene, deputies detained him and he was brought in for questioning by detectives…
