A Florida man is facing charges in the death of a 3-year-old girl after allegedly tying up her hands and feet overnight then striking her multiple times the following day, authorities said.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said Major Crimes Detective Karla Santana-Palau on Thursday night arrested 32-year-old Jeroen Jarrel Coombs in connection with the death of 3-year-old Paisley Brown.
The sheriff’s office said deputies and medics initially responded at around noon on Thursday to a residence in Citra, a rural community about 15 miles north of Ocala, for a report of an unresponsive child. She was transported to a local hospital where she died of her injuries…
