A Clermont man was arrested after allegedly following a van to an Ocala shopping plaza, entering the vehicle, and stealing over $12,000 in cash.
On Saturday, January 24, a male victim contacted the Marion County Sheriff’s Office to report that approximately $12,800 had been stolen from his van, which had been parked at a shopping plaza located along W Highway 40 in Ocala, according to the arrest report.
