A spring break food distribution event will take place at Irby Elementary School in Alachua on Saturday, March 14.
The event, open to families in Alachua County, will start at 9 a.m. at 13505 NW 140th St. in Alachua and will remain open until all the food is gone.
“God placed it on our hearts to provide snacks, healthy snacks & food to area families whose children will be out on spring break after next week,” stated Deeper Purpose Community Church in the release. “We know that many students and families depend on the food that’s provided while children are at school & we want to get needed food to families that could use it during this time…
