GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Authorities in some North Central Florida counties are lifting burn bans as drought conditions improve due to recent rainfall.
Marion and Levy County officials announced that mandatory burn bans were lifted on Tuesday.
Last week, Alachua County officials extended the county burn ban through this Friday. Bradford County officials also confirmed recent rains weren’t enough to justify lifting the burn ban in their county at this time…
