A 22-year-old woman was killed on Interstate 75 in Marion County on Saturday night after her motorcycle was rear-ended by a sedan and threw her into the path of an oncoming SUV.
The fatal accident occurred near mile marker 349 in the southbound lanes of I-75 at approximately 9:23 p.m. on Saturday, March 21.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the young woman was operating a motorcycle southbound in the outside lane.
