Gainesville man arrested in Arizona for stealing over $100,000 in collectibles from Waldo Flea Market

WALDO, Fla. – Michael Allen Kinney, 38, has been transported to the Alachua County Jail after being arrested in Arizona on a warrant for stealing over $100,000 in collectibles from Swamped Collectibles at the Waldo Flea Market in July 2025.

An Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy reported that in the early morning hours of July 10, a man who was later identified as Kinney arrived at the Waldo Flea Market (17805 NE U.S. Hwy 301) in a van, broke the window in the front door of Swamped Collectibles, and stole about $100,000 in trading cards, gaming cards, video games, and display cases…
