GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Shakira Latreece Campbell, 32, was arrested on March 11 for allegedly urinating in the parking garage of an apartment complex near campus; at the time, she had been out of jail for one week after serving a 45-day sentence for threatening to kill a police officer.
At about 7:56 a.m. on March 11, a maintenance employee of Stadium House Apartments (1642 W. University Avenue) was walking through the parking garage and found Campbell sleeping under the stairs. He told a responding Gainesville Police Department officer that he told her to leave; a short time later, he returned to the garage and reportedly found Campbell pulling her pants up next to a puddle of liquid on the ground…
