Pharmacist Arrested for Domestic Battery and Illegally Installing Tracking Device

Alachua County Sheriff’s Office deputies booked Jay Cutter Swerbilow, 34, into jail Monday on a warrant for misdemeanor domestic battery and a felony charge for installing a tracking device on person or property without consent.

On January 27, the victim reportedly discovered that Swerbilow placed an Apple AirTag inside her vehicle.

According to the police report, the victim talked to Swerbilow about what she found, leading to a verbal altercation that turned physical when Swerbilow grabbed and pulled her arms multiple times.

The altercation continued with Swerbilow reportedly walking towards the front door and grabbing one of the victim’s house keys. The police report states Swerbilow was attempting to leave with the victim’s key and she forced the front door shut to stop him from stealing it. The victim was able to take the key back from Swerbilow during the altercation and he eventually left the residence…
