Marion County Sheriff’s Office detectives do not suspect foul play in the deaths of a family of four whose bodies were discovered inside their Ocala residence in February. The case has now been closed.
According to a report written by sheriff’s Detective Matthew Larson, a doctor at the Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death for the foursome as acute carbon monoxide poisoning due to inhalation of automobile exhaust. The manner of death is listed as accidental.
