MICANOPY, Fla. – Whitney Nicole Davis, 35, of Gainesville, was arrested yesterday after allegedly taking her teenage child with her when she entered a home, threatened an occupant with a knife, and then fled, leaving the child behind.
At about 12:57 a.m. on April 11, an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report that a firearm had been brandished at a home on Palmetto Drive. The deputy reported that the male victim had been living at Davis’s residence, but he and Davis got into an argument, so he went to a residence he owns in Micanopy; the female victim had been staying at the male victim’s residence for about two weeks, with the male victim’s permission…
