GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A Gainesville man is dead following a crash late Sunday night in Alachua County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. on County Road 225. Troopers say a sport utility vehicle was traveling northbound on the road when, for unknown reasons, it veered to the left and onto the west grassy shoulder.
