Belleview woman sentenced to 10 years, loses license for life in fatal DUI crash

A Belleview woman has been sentenced to a decade in prison and has lost her driver’s license for life after pleading guilty to charges stemming from a 2025 drunk driving accident that killed her 27-year-old passenger.

Amber Noelle Sacks pled guilty to DUI manslaughter and DUI with property damage last week. Both charges followed a single-vehicle crash on August 16, 2025, that claimed the life of Austin Michael Snyder.

According to the original Florida Highway Patrol investigation, Sacks was driving a blue Nissan Altima southbound on State Road 35 when the vehicle veered off the roadway.
