Jon Sumrall is building excitement for Florida football with a stellar recruiting class
Sumrall said from the get-go that he was going to be all-in on recruiting. He was going to go after elite players, blue-chip players, under-the-radar prospects that he believed could be developed and have the raw tools to compete in the SEC over time. Recruiting in today’s college football is different and there has to be a balance of players a program is willing to go big for with ones that will be far cheaper on the NIL scale but are evaluated as potential solid pieces. Just filling a roster with a dozen 5-star and high 4-star kids will cost $20 million these days…
