GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It’s pretty amazing to have a business going into its 71th year, but that is just what Pofahl Studios is doing! Starting in 1956, the school, which has trained three generations of Alachua County dancers, is presenting Honoring Our Past …Celebrating Our Future. DANB’s Resident School, Pofahl Studios, dances into Spring and Summer with students displaying a year’s worth of work doing what they love.
This recital will be a reflection of 70 years of classes — from starting at The American Legion Hall (now the Matheson History Museum) to a studio on Main Street (where Holy Trinity has their school) to the present studio on 2nd Street, while we eagerly look forward to our new home – The Khoury Family Center for the Performing Arts…
