GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Bacarius A’kenshay Dinkins, 33, was arrested yesterday on a warrant for allegedly breaking into an ex-girlfriend’s residence in April, causing an estimated $1,000 of damage inside the residence, and stealing her medical marijuana.
A Gainesville Police Department officer reported that at about 1:00 p.m. on April 19, the victim was told by co-workers that Dinkins had called her workplace to check whether she was working; the victim called Dinkins and asked why he had called, and Dinkins reportedly told the victim he had kicked in the door of her residence, entered, and damaged items such as ceiling fans, lights, a wall, and the front door frame.
