Gilbert will host its annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11, at the town’s 9/11 Memorial Plaza.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will honor the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks as well as the first responders who assisted during and after the events.
Following the ceremony, a Tribute in Light will take place from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Two beams of light will be projected into the sky as a symbolic representation of the World Trade Center’s twin towers…
