I first met Máiréad and Fabrice Buschtetz when I interviewed them at Cuisine & Wine Bistro. Over the years, I have frequented their restaurants and written about their work for PhoenixBites and local magazines. Every time I’ve crossed paths with them, they’ve been exactly the same: warm, kind and completely genuine.
Then, in October 2025, I stopped into Quiches & Pies Quiches & Pies on a whim. Neither Máiréad nor Fabrice was there, the visit wasn’t hosted, and I paid the full $53.83 bill myself.
