Queen Creek nurse gets 14 years for Medicaid fraud

A Queen Creek woman will spend the next 14 years in a federal penitentiary after she was sentenced last week after fraudulently collecting $54 million from over $69 million in fraudulent Arizona Medicaid bills she submitted through her Tempe company.

Rita Ntusa Anagho, 54, a former nurse practitioner, owned Tusa Integrated Clinic, LLC (Tusa), an addiction treatment center based on Rural Road.

It fraudulently billed the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) for over $69 million from May 2022 through March 2023, collecting on the lion’s share of those billings…
