MESA, Ariz. – Two teenagers are in the hospital after they were shot near Mesa, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office announced. According to police reports, a group of teens had been using a slingshot to shoot large bb’s at cars near Ellsworth Road and Main Street around 11:30 p.m. An unknown man pulled up in a Volkswagen Jetta and began to argue with the teens.
