Building in Maricopa just got a little easier, and developers are singing the praises of the city’s Development Services Department. In a bustling Arizonan community, where breaks in red tape are as welcome as shade in the desert sun, the department is being hailed as a partner rather than a hurdle in the process of development. “Working with any city through the entitlement and development process is challenging and time-consuming, but the City of Maricopa made it as seamless as possible,” Brad Flahiff, VP of Real Estate for AZ Slims, dba Slim Chickens, told the City of Maricopa’s website.
