PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Mexican national who’s been living in Arizona for decades has been indicted on fraud charges after investigators say he stole the identity of a young child who died in the 1960s.
On Tuesday, a federal grand jury in Phoenix indicted 60-year-old Enrrique Ricardo Diaz Vazquez for passport and visa fraud.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona says Diaz Vazquez has been going by the name Gene Edward Katzorke for about 40 years. Diaz Vazquez reportedly used that identity, along with an Arizona license and U.S. birth certificate, to apply for a U.S. passport in 1986, which was approved…
