A fire at a Phoenix assisted living facility prompted the evacuation of residents on the first floor, as smoke permeated the building, leading to quick action by the Phoenix Fire Department. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the department managed to extinguish the smoldering fire with portable extinguishers, targeting hot spots that remained.
