TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A motorcyclist is seriously hurt after a crash off of the US 60 in Tempe early Friday morning.
Tempe police and firefighters were called to the collision near the U.S. 60 overpass and Rural Road. While details about the crash remain limited, authorities confirm a motorcycle rider was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Freeway on-and-off ramps reopened shortly after 6 a.m. However, northbound and southbound lanes in the intersection will remain closed throughout morning rush hour.
