Town Manager Patrick Banger to Depart Gilbert in January 2026; Transition Plan Announced for Local Residents

The Town of Gilbert has announced that Town Manager Patrick Banger will leave his position to become the City Manager for Glendale. Banger’s last day in Gilbert will be January 2, 2026. He has served as Town Manager since 2011, overseeing a period of growth and change for the community.

During his tenure, Gilbert received AAA bond ratings from all three major agencies, reflecting its financial management. Banger supported the development of recreational spaces, including Gilbert Regional Park and Desert Sky Park. The Heritage District was also redeveloped, attracting new businesses and events.
