SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. — While most families across Arizona spent Thanksgiving gathered around their own tables, the animals at Aimee’s Farm Animal Sanctuary had a holiday spread of their own — and the turkeys were at the head of it.
The sanctuary hosted its annual “Thanks-Living” celebration Thursday, a tradition where rescued turkeys and chickens are treated to an elaborate feast rather than becoming one.
