A hit-and-run incident in San Tan Valley has led to the arrest of three men, according to officials from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. The office released a statement on Monday, regarding the event, which occurred on Oct. 16, noting that deputies were dispatched to the scene at Gantzel Road and Hunt Highway after reports of a collision in a parking lot. It emerged that the suspects fled on foot but were subsequently apprehended in a neighboring area. This information was detailed in a portion of the statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix.
The suspects arrested are Ryan Zaragoza, 18, Deshawn Greer, and Elijah Garcia, both 19 years old. In light of the investigation, officials have suggested that Zaragoza was the alleged driver, with the two 19-year-olds accompanying as passengers. According to the statement obtained by Yahoo News, allegations against Zaragoza include possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to quickly stop at the scene of an accident, resisting arrest, and additional charges related to driving under the influence.
