A 54-year-old man was arrested and booked on domestic violence charges stemming from a standoff Saturday afternoon with Scottsdale police.
Police responded to a call about 11 a.m. Dec. 6 near 70th Street and McDowell Road. A woman reported Andrew M. Shadid force his way into her home, assaulted her and threatened to ignited the house “on fire with gasoline he had allegedly poured inside the house,” according to a release.
“Shadid told the victim he would kill her and himself if police showed up.”…
