Ice cream lovers will have yet another way to get their frozen fix when Salt & Straw opens at Heritage Park.
The ice cream shop, known for its unique flavors and plans on opening a shop in 2026 at the multi-use center at North Gilbert Road, reports East Valley Now. This will mark the second Gilbert location and the fourth Arizona shop for Salt & Straw.
The Portland-based ice cream shop was founded in 2011 by cousins Kim and Tyler Malek who dreamed of a neighborhood gathering spot where people could come for a shared treat. They worked long and hard to develop the perfect ice cream recipe, using locally-sourced ingredients.
