The national motto will soon be posted in Queen Creek Town Council Chambers – it’s just a question of how many signs and where they will be located.
After a discussion Jan. 21, Council voted 5-2 to prominently display “In God We Trust” in at least one location in chambers with town staff determining the optimal placement.
Newly appointed Vice Mayor Bryan McClure, who headed the effort, said “I believe a belief in God is reflecting of our community,” asserting that displaying the motto would encourage patriotism…
