Phoenix City councilman Kevin Robinson, a former Phoenix PD assistant police chief and a retired senior law enforcement executive with 36.5 years of experience, joined Outspoken with Bruce & Gaydos to explain more about the statement released Tuesday by the Phoenix Police Department with concerns over federal agency presence. While the statement outlined what police could do versus the enforcement of federal agents like ICE, Robinson explained how local police do not enforce federal immigration laws and that their role is to uphold local and state laws that protect public safety.
