TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A rollover crash caused a slowdown on westbound Loop 202 Red Mountain freeway in Tempe Monday morning.
Details remain limited, but the crash occurred in the westbound lanes near Scottsdale Road. Arizona Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed a black car on its roof in the middle of the freeway, with several other vehicles stopped along the shoulder.
It is unclear the extent of injuries or how many people were involved.
A backup grew in the westbound lanes as first responders attended to the crash. Several lanes were restricted, but have since reopened…
