Mesa schools make staff reductions for next year

The Mesa Public Schools board voted 4-1 to approve the reduction-in-force plan that would eliminate or involuntarily relocate staff to other schools.

The district says staffing will remain at a 25-to-1 student-to-staff member ratio for the 2026-27 school year.
