PHOENIX — Sunday flights from Sky Harbor International Airport to parts of Mexico were cancelled as unrest over the killing of a cartel leader caused a shelter-in-place order.
The Phoenix airport reported cancelling scheduled flights on Sunday to the tourist city of Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara in Jalisco, as well as Mazatlán in Sinaloa, according to the Sky Harbor website.
