Gilbert residents will see a modest increase in their trash bills beginning in April, while the town’s commercial customers will absorb a far steeper hike.
In a 6-1 vote last week, Town Council approved a 2% increase for residential solid waste and recycling services and an average 20% increase for commercial trash services. Councilman Monte Lyons cast the lone dissenting vote against both increases.
