GILBERT, Ariz. — Water bills in Gilbert have become a growing source of frustration for residents who say their monthly charges have surged in recent years, even as an ongoing audit of the town’s water meters has so far found no widespread problems.
The town has implemented three water rate increases since 2024. Most recently, officials approved a 25% increase in water rates last month, separate from waste and recycling fees.
