Kingman interchange easing Las Vegas-Phoenix traffic hits 70% completion

KINGMAN, AZ (AZFamily) — The Arizona Department of Transportation is working to complete a $106 million interchange project designed to solve traffic backups that have hassled travelers between Phoenix and Las Vegas for decades.

The West Kingman Interchange construction project started in July 2024 and continues with rock blasting and flyover ramp work along Interstate 40 between Stockton Hill Road and Beale Street.
