PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A cloudy start to the day for Phoenix, but expect a bit more sunshine with partly sunny skies this afternoon. Temperatures will peak near 80 degrees today, which is about five degrees below normal for this time of year.
A cold front will push through Arizona today. For most of the state, this brings breezy to locally windy conditions. Valley winds will pick up to 10 to 20 mph this afternoon and evening, with gusts to 30 mph. Stronger winds are expected in the high country, where a Wind Advisory from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. means gusts of 50 mph are possible.
