Goodyear notifies residents of drinking water violation months after issue began

GOODYEAR, AZ (AZFamily) — A Goodyear homeowner received a letter alerting him to high levels of a chemical in his tap water, but the issue dates back to last year.

The city confirmed it sent mailers to all 60,000 of its water customers. The mailer states the water system recently violated a drinking water standard, but that the incident is not an emergency and there is nothing customers need to do.
