A man armed with a knife was shot by Glendale police Wednesday morning after officers responded to a reported domestic violence incident at a business near 63rd Avenue and Bell Road.
The officer-involved shooting occurred shortly before 10 a.m. May 20 after Glendale police received a call about a suspicious person at a business in the area.
According to police, witnesses told investigators that an adult man and woman entered the business, where the woman attempted to purchase a firearm. While speaking with the store manager, the woman showed a large cut on her hand and mouthed the words, “Call 911.”…
