Thunderstorms in northern Arizona sent winds that kicked up dust near the Valley Wednesday evening before heavier monsoon activity was expected to hit the area Thursday.
The Arizona Department of Transportation cautioned drivers on Interstate 10 near Picacho Peak to use caution due to a wall of blowing dust.
