SUN CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is hospitalized after he reportedly fled police and crashed near the El Mirage-Sun City border late Thursday night.
It started around 10 p.m., when officers spotted a vehicle parked in an area not normally open to the public and reported hearing what they believed were gunshots. When officers approached, the driver took off, according to the El Mirage Police Department.
More officers tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to pull over, police say. The department said it did not pursue the vehicle as it sped away…
