Sunshine Breakfast Bar has submitted a site plan and design review application for a third restaurant at 25720 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway in Peoria, the city’s Willow District shared on Facebook.
Co-owner Dina Mati told What Now Phoenix the team is still working through city approvals, and construction has not started. She said the project is at least a year away, possibly a year and a half. An opening date has not been set.
Mati described plans for a 4,200-square-foot, two-story building with a drive-thru. The upstairs area would accommodate private events and include a bar and retractable windows that open to the outdoors. Its final use will depend on what the city approves…
